Self-introduction:

• Critical Thinking: My time in the education sector has allowed me to able to consider best interest of
students while also working within institutions goals and standards.
• Professionalism and Networking; through my constant interaction with customers and managers I have
learnt the value of conducting myself in a dignified and professional manner as well as conveying my
thoughts with clarity. My time at Madacan and has allowed me to appreciate and respect the work that
goes into the day-to-day operations of a business or organisation. I learned the importance of
conducting myself in manner that is reflective of an organisation’s goals and objectives on a daily basis.
• My time at Baker Mackenzie as well as Ramsay Webber Attorneys gave me great insight into legal
practice and the daily running and operations of a law firm. I developed skills in dealing with legal
documentation and processes and dealing with clients. I further honed my ability to be a quick learner
who can quickly absorb new situations and communicate clearly and effectively with both legal
professionals and members of the public.
• Leadership and Teamwork; I possess the ability to take charge and ensure that duties are carried out
efficiently from my position as General Assistance and Cashier at Ideals. Working with and interacting
with varying personalities in a team taught me the invaluable skill of handling conflict tactfully,
compromising yet still achieve results of a high standard and ensuring maximum customer satisfaction.
• Planning and organising; Being the coordinator of Student Fellowship at university entailed inter alia
organizing outreach project and weekly meetings. This position taught me how to be resourceful and
the ability to diversify plans when necessary. I also learnt to keep calm and level-headed in stressful
situations. As a teacher I’ve developed distinct organisational skills that allow me to manage material
and student assignments well.
